Taylor was born and raised in Las Vegas. He’s began studying voice at 9 with Master Teachers from the Institute for Vocal Advancement(IVA). He currently resides in the greater New York City area. A member of the Actor’s Equity Association, Taylor is a Musical Theater Actor/Singer. He served 8 months aboard Holland America’s Oosterdam with Stiletto Entertainment as the lead male singer, he toured 6 months with the national tour of Broadway’s Tony award winning musical The Producers, and has technically performed on Broadway! (Ask him for details…)
He’s recently expanded into teaching and is excited to share his passions with others.
Taylor’s real passion is storytelling.
Taylor believes all art forms are a heightened means of communication–a way to share the emotions words can’t. As artists, all of our training and skill should lend itself to clearer artistic communication.
His second most important emphasis, of course, is vocal health and stamina–to not only tell your story but to be able to do it 8 shows a week and for many years to come. His core foundation is based in mix but he believes all methodologies are valuable. He sees all vocal techniques and trainings as tools or colors that the vocalist can then use to communicate different emotions or feelings. Because of this, Taylor’s teaching is flexible, versatile and useful with any voice.
